I get home Sunday am around 5:00-6:00 call all the gang and lets go to the parking lot at the marina then head out for a ride.

Are we talking Memorial DAY or the Sunday when Rollin' Thunder is happening?
I was planning to do the whole Rollin' Thunder event, even the suffering of 3-4 hours stuck in the Pentagon parking lot.
Memorial Day itself will probably be spent at home.

Timmy. 3-4 hours is not even close. figure 5-6 depending on what time you show up and how far back in line you are.
Last time we rode we arrived at 6:30 and left the lot at 2 pm. By the time we were done with the parade it was around 3. At least the weather is looking good, but not too hot for Sunday. |

Not sure what I will be doing just know that I won't be sitting in the Pentagon parking lot. I'll let you know by Thursday. Greg is out of town until Monday evening so he most likely will not make it.

That was more in line with what I was thinking...go view/support the riders for a short bit, walk the midway and head out for a ride...

hi guys
i flew over last year for rolling thunder from scotland i had a ball all weekend
rode down to the pentagon with patriot hd and loved every minute of the day
cannot make this weekend due to work but a few of us are coming over next year hope we can meet up next year

been in touch with guys from fairfax hog committee folks who know us from last year
and we are booked for next year
you ,se have some good riding roads especially up towards gettysburg and lake eire in pa etc

We can meet at my house and ride to the marina on the GW pkwy,LBJ marina I think or the park across from the marina is LBJ park.
