Sounds like it could be a plan.

FYI - I'm hoping to take the SO on her first ride on Oct. 6th or 7th. I'm hoping for some color on the trees that weekend. Hoping we can be mobile by 9 am & back by 2 or 3 pm.

Thumbs up Sounds like a plan

I'm in except for a few planned events:

I'm booked for the Nat's final home game next Sun the 23rd and the Caps final preseason game on the 30th

Leaves were changing a few weeks back when I was out in WV so I'd guess the leaves will peak early this year, but what do I know I'm a fed!

Where would we be riding ?
How far would we be riding ?
How far in advance will you set the date ?
What if the weather turns bad on that day ?

Reason for asking where, is that I'm interested in taking a trip from SC to who knows where. And, it's been a long time since I seen the nice color changes :-)

Not a commitment on my part, but interest for sure. I do have a couple of things booked in Oct. so I'd need to know the date for sure.

Thanks,
Mikey

Could work if the leaves are far enough along...we'll keep an eye on it...

We try to set a date as early as possible but since it's a local ride we occasionally adjust by the needs of the locals...keep an eye on this thread, we'd look forward to having you join us! It's looking like most are available early in the month...

I got me eyes on this space, hopeful that it'll work out !!

If I can get enough lead time, I'd come up a couple of days early, find a campsite somewhere close by and just camp out.
Of course that all depends on weather, I ain't coming up there in the rain ! :-O

The prospect for a fall foliage ride this coming weekend is kinda low, the peak is now projected around the middle of the month...but any ride is better than no ride we'll have to see how everyone responds to this weekend for a regular ride! (don't know if I can make it yet)
