Hey Delinquents...time to put together a ride time and meeting places, most of us in nova will likely meet at Wayne's house and we'll need a start time (directions for those not knowing where Wayne lives)...we need others to chime in with way points to join the group as we proceed north. This is the agenda so far:

There will be a ride to the famous MD Rt.43 Shrine on Saturday morning prior to the festivities at Q-Dog's. There will be two optional "meet-up" points prior to heading out to the 43 Shrine. First, those coming from the south may wish to meet up at the Marriott Courtyard here. This is where Mega, Gray and other "out of towners" will be staying. I will be leading a ride from there the the second optional meet up site. We will be gathering at the Marriott around 10:00 a.m. with "kickstands up" at 10:30 a.m. sharp! The second "meet-up" point will be the IKEA store here. Those not wishing to stop at the Marriott or those coming from the north can go directly to IKEA. This will be our final round-up point before proceeding the the 43 Shrine. "Kickstands up" for the 43 Shrine will be 11:30 a.m. sharp!

Anyone who would like to have breakfast with Mega, Gray and others staying at the hotel should arrive at the Marriott no later than 9:00

My tentative plan is to be at the Marriott NLT 0900 for brekkie with the DooFs there, then the ride to the shrine, then to Q-Dogs.

I don't have a clue as to how to get to swm's house or slowhound's.
They don't give me direction in the fear that I will always be at either place moochin' off 'em...

Directions to my house from the south: I-95 north to exit 163, (Lorton Rd) take Lorton Rd to US1, (Richmond Hwy) turn Left onto US1 continue to the next traffic light at Pohick Rd, turn left onto Pohick Rd and continue to the second light and turn left, (Pohick Rd again...don't ask!) continue for just over a mile to the next traffic light and continue straight through to the immediate right just after the light (Clifforest Dr) and turn right, make another immediate right onto Cliffview Dr and park near my Dodge truck...I'll likely be waiting outside for you...it's a half hour to Wayne's house and Mapquest says it's 31 miles to the Hotel, (I'm gonna bet nearly an hour to get there) so I suggest meeting at my house no later than 7 AM or Wayne's house no later than 7:30...

John, you guys heading up around 495 Beltway W/N to 95 North? Any place you can pull aside and let me hook up from the Toll Road entrance/Tysons on 495 or points north in MD?

I'm sure we can do it that way...what's a good place, somewhere near the toll road...hmmm, how about the exit at 193 (Georgetown Pike)...on the ON ramp this time?

I'm guessing Chris ought to be there no later than 8 AM...sound right?

ON the ON ramp, got it. That works for me. I bet those freakin' nasty a$$ drawers will still be there! If they are I'm gonna get another pic. 8AM? I'm not sure my clock goes that low. But any thing's do-able fer this ride. What time do you guys think you'll be rolling through?

PS: When we get settled in at the BBQ remind me to tell you'all how I became the Tourist.

Back up and punt....Chris is gonna miss the meet at Wayne's house so the original route to the hotel is on, (up 295) meet time is still 7:30-7:45 AM Wayne's or 7 AM at my house...

Thanks John, I am going to mosey out 'o here around 9AM and try to catch the group at IKEA, if I "over mosey" I'll roar down MD43 and catch you'all at the shrine. I might still stop at the exit ramp and check for those nasty drawers.

Speakin' of moseying, considering the food isn't served till 1500, and considering my bride says she'll come along on this ride, I think I'll be launching about noon. I'm planning to get up to Dave's about 1400, with a likely stop at Old Glory HD enroute.
