Doug's last ride
OK guys just got off the phone with Doug and here is the mission for Saturday if you choose to accept it?????
0700 Meet at Exxon gas station outside front gate to Quantico MCB so Doug can rid himself of the goofy orange vest
0715 Depart Quantico MCB I-95 to Virginia Beach "Virginia Beach Harley-Davidson, 237 Laskin Road, Va Beach, VA 23451"
1000 Get a bite to eat as we wait on Doug's friend whom I'm assuming to be a fellow JarHead since he is coming from Cherry Point! Oh and I may add riding a Honda so we may have to find a chapel and pray for his arrival! All in favor of Honda riders keeping a 50 pace distance from the rear? All apposed ?
1100 Depart Virginia Beach route 50 across bridge towards Annapolis
1530 Depart Annapolis on route 50 to Thunder Alley in DC

As Jerry said, I'll be meeting up with my buddy John in VB so he can attend RT on Sunday. I'm trying to get as much nice riding as possible this weekend since my time is short here now and there is much to do. OL is working so she won't even notice I'm gone so it's time to take advantage of it. Who's in????

Look who crawled outta his spider hole.
How the hell are ya?
Where the hell you been?
Bike is still down?
Only solution I could recommend is lifting up the gas cap, and putting a new bike underneath it.
What's up?
----
Dougie, I'm thinking that I won't be able to do the VA Beach, but hook up with y'all when you are heading northbound. Anyone got a mapquest of the route?

You'll need to get with Jerry on that one. He's got the route figured.

I just talked with SLOWHOUND and learned of your plans. I'm going to meet you all in Virginia Beach and say hi. Just wanted to let you know that Virginia Beach HD on Laskin is a small tourist, clothes only type shop. The actual dealer is called Southside HD and is at 385 N. Witchduck Rd in Virginia Beach. They have a new place to eat right next door that is geared towards bikers. I have not tried it yet but others say its good.

I don't think I'm gonna be able to make this ride, but I haven't talked to the OL yet either. This might be one of those situations where when she sez 'Yes', but she means 'No'.
This sounds like a 'leave at 0645 and maybe be home at 1900' ride.
What's the plan for Sunday?

I'm definitely in from 404 & 13 to Annapolis. What's your ETA there?
Theres a Royal Farms on the corner, I'll join up there.
Doug's a good guy, I wish I could make the whole run but the last leg will have to do.

These two take you through town, 25 MPH and unforgiving LEO's.
16. Bear LEFT (northwest) onto SR-404 / Seashore Hwy, and then immediately bear RIGHT (northwest) onto US-13 Bus / S Main St (1.5 mi)
17. Turn LEFT (west) onto SR-404 Bus / Market St (0.4 mi)
When you meet me at the Royal Farms I'll show you a better way. Unless you guys want to stop in town.
