Rolling Thunder 2007
Posting here...
Posting there...
Posting, posting everywhere...
Who's in?
Are we riding with a group (i.e. meeting at a stealership in the A.M.)?
Or is it a 'crack 'o dawn' run to the Penagon to be one of the first out at noon??
Can't claim ya did it unless you do the parade route in D.C., right?

I posted down the street about us all getting together to either ride in or watch and support... and added an idea about visiting Thunder Alley either the day before or day of...I'll let y'all decide...I just wanna be there! Anyone wanna post in the main area about the Delinquents being there so any VTF members are free to meet up?

Call me a DooF...
...then tell me where is Thunder Alley?
I've been doing the RT run for goin' on 5 years now & I never heard of it.
As the weekend approaches, let's try & herd all these cats for the rides (Thunder Alley & RT).

I'm up for RT and Thunder Alley what ever that is but not really interested in the parking lot non-event did it last year! It's supposed to be 90 this year so would rather fall in line after they launch!

This is likely to be Doug's last Delinquent ride in this area and I think we ought to let him set the stage...Thunder Alley in the Vendor area in the center of the parade route...if we wanna go over there Saturday we'll need someone that knows the way, (Vafatboy comes to mind) I avoid DC at all costs except Memorial Day weekend every year so I don't know my way around at all...There is ample bike parking all along the route to view instead of ride but we need to get there early to get a good spot!

No "subs" here mister...it's a "whiz wit". Pat's is better anyway. They serve horse meat over at Genos.

I'm thinking that we can go over to the yacht club to park the bikes so we have plenty of shade and a place to eat this is not overly expensive and can walk over to the Pentagon and snap photos, visit the vendors or get our annual RT patches or whatever. Me and Billy actually parked at the Pentagon last year but while there we discovered the yacht club while exploring the waterfront at the Pentagon. We could always depart just prior to the "parade" to find a spot to park or just drive through the city and go for a ride at destinations to be announced later.
