Anyone have any experience/opinions on this rally ?
A few of us are contemplating heading down this June
Looking for any general info...
Recomendations for lodging
Any suggestions for scenic travel through N.Y. state + Pa.
(coming out of Canada through Buffalo)
...any other items or info that you may think is relevant

Thanks in advance for any help

Can't offer much in the way of info on the rally. i too would like to hear about it!

However, if you want scenery, I suggest staying of the PA pike...I swear that has got to be the most boring road to ride in America. Nothing to look at....blahh!
Not that NJ has much in the beauty dept. Yet, at least we have a bunch of morons on the road that keep you on your toes and awake !

yup..got to agree
We're taking our time heading down and coming home.
I'd rather soak in some of the backroads than rip the highway .

The area just outside of Buffalo down to the PA line is quite beautiful. Excellent motorcycle riding territory. It is very hilly with many streams and waterfalls. Mostly private lands so camping isn't easy but you will definitely want to get off the highway and roll on through that area.

Northern PA/Southern NY is wonderful country. The Allegheny Mountains, the Finger Lakes, Watkins Glen, the incredible Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania (Pine Creek) etc. There is so much there I can't begin to describe it all. You can't go wrong going through there.

Check out NY 17/PA 15S to Rt 6 in PA. Awesome road and listed on the HD website (I think) as one of the best motorcycle roads in the USA. I've been on it and it is great!
