Gettysburg Bike Week

Just thought I'd let everyone know about what looks like a good time. Check out all the info here . I'll be heading up Saturday with a couple of other people if anyone is interested in meeting either there or on the way up.

Im in Monkeyboy. The wife and I ride out several times that weekend since we live only 1 hr from Battlefield.
Battlefield is actually where I bought my Superglide.
Dave Isacson and Harley Sanders in Sales are two of the nicest guys you would want to meet or know.
Let me know where you'll be.

Alrighty then, everything is set. I'll be up there Saturday with a couple of friends. Expect to arrive around 9:30 - 10:00am. I'm not too familiar with the area (landmarks, etc.) so if someone that does know the area wants to pick out a spot to meet, I'm up for it. Prolly best to reply here than to email or pm me so everyone that's interested can join in.

Battlefield HD (Dealer) is where we (Us locals) usually meet up.
They have eats, entertainment, and a HUGE pavillion and stage for such events.
We'll see how the events pan out but really its quite easy to meet up since there are several unmistakeable monuments / landmarks on all ends / sides of town.

Hey Dynatherapy, I've collected a few people from here that are interested in going up and some of them have expressed an interest in staying over Saturday night at a campsite. If you could recommend one or two within a 30-40 mile radius (more family oriented than partyville), I'd appreciate it.
It also looks like we might be getting there a little earlier than originally planned and meeting at Battlefiled HD looks like a good plan. I'll fill in the details as they become clearer.

Uh, no on the RV sites. We got Harleys, not International Harvesters. Tent or cabin would be nice. Thanks for the current info. Haven't had time to look yet (too busy at work getting comp time to get up to the show) but, will look soon. Thanks. PS..... good luck with the helmet law.

Looked at the information and looks like a good time there. Going to talk to the wife about going. If there is a gathering would love to stop by and meet everyone. She might understand since i had to miss going to Laconia, .

I'll probably be there too. How long you plan on being at Battlefield? I live about 3 hrs away and probably won't get there until 10 or 11 on Saturday.

The day is getting closer and plans are starting to firm up. If it's agreeable to everyone, let's see if we can meet at Battlefield at around 10:00 am. on Saturday. That'll give everyone that lives close a chance to see some other stuff and others that are a little farther out time to get up there. I'll probably getting in around 9:00 and getting a feel for the place.

Sounds good, but I MUST suggest picking an actual SPOT at Battlefield HD to meet. That may sound stupid but this last weekend was BHD's Birthday bash and there were sooo many bikes and people there that I couldnt not even find my good buddy in the crowd for over an hour when we seperated.
I suggest we meet directly in front of "the Cannon" at 10:00 ,,, that way we will be in a GREAT spot for the Forum shots I would like with my new Digital camera.
See you all there ,,,and safe travel.
