Cool Allentown, Pa - This Weekend

Anybody have any input on the bike show in Allentown, Pa this weekend?

Lehigh Valley Motorcycle Extravaganza

March 21 & 22, 2009
Agricultural Hall - Allentown Fairgrounds
Allentown, Pennsylvania

New bike dealers (US & Metric), custom bike builders, new & used parts, trailers, leathers & riding apparel, accessories, tools, big boys toys, etc. Meet some of the bike builders like Dave MiZur (winner of the Rats Hole in Daytona 2008), Marc Schaffer from Twisted Customs, Sam and the boys from East Side Custom Choppers from Walden NY. Death Row Motorcycles will be bringing their American Red Cross theme bike with a limited number of raffle tickets still available for the drawing at a future date plus more builders with their new creations. The Colonial Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America from NJ will be there with a timeline of bikes dating back 35-100 years. Need parts? We have numerous vendors selling new and used parts for various makes of motorcycles. Also, the Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be there for blood donations (The Gift of Life). What would you like to know? I was at the same show they had there at the end of the year last year. It's not a big show they have the few Dealers there showing new bikes. Last year there was a Harley, Star, Victory Dealers there. A bunch of Custom builders there one or two popular names can't recall who they were. And then you have the majority of the rest is (in my opinion) junk yard dealers selling everything and anything that they had left over from bikes that they customized or crashed. Besides that I'll be there anyway one day. There was a guy there that did custom painting and I want to see about painting a helmet I have. Other then that for 10 bucks it's a ride for you. I can walk there.

Cool Thanks for the info

Thanks silverdyna.
I was going to take the ride anyway because the weather looks good and it's just as good a destination as any other. I was just looking for some local information about the show and the area like places to visit, places to eat, etc.

The show is in the west end of Allentown. Coming from Rt.22 take 15th st. exit south to allen st. then west to 19th st. you run into it. If your coming from I 78 take the lehigh st exit then head east to 15th st. north to allen st then west to 19th st. As far as eating thee are places everywhere. Stay towards the west end of the city you'll have less problems with your bike.
