Where I work, myspace.com is blocked. Odd, since literally everywhere else seems to be available. I don't know why our IS people decided myspace is a potential problem.

I had it blocked where I work.
I believe thats why they call it work and not "go play on the net and get a paycheck".

Guess I'm spectacularly lucky, because I can use our system during lunch for wherever I want to go -- except myspace (which is fine with me...).
Actually, about a third of my job is getting information from websites. I get so tired of computers after a day here that I never, ever touch them outside of work.
I was just wondering whether myspace.com had some kind of issues that would affect the system here.

Nope, I left at lunch, went for a short ride and now I'm cleaning and getting the house ready for Thursday.
I almost never play on the net at work. Some people abuse the internet access at work, spending hours on sites like my space. I'm paying someone an hourly wage to work not to play on the net. The next thing to go will be IM clients.

I spend a lot of time holding in a queue on the phone waiting for phone carriers to pick up so I'll pass the time by surfing around. Mine's not the kind of job where you can put stuff off so if I'm really busy, I'm not on.
