Another newbie from VA
Hello all,
This is my first time on any forum.
I'm in the Navy stationed in Virginia Beach at Little Creek Naval Base but I hail from a small town in southern Arkansas. I own a 2006 HD Softail Standard, still making small upgrades to it. This my first HD.

They are saying that it will be showers on Friday if any and Sunday Night. Nothing to ruin my trip to VA bike classic. Should be fun.

Nice to meet another VTF memeber from my area! I think we need to start a SEVA forum!

Right On Cushion
Little Creek has been around a long time. My dad trained there before going to the South Pacific in WW2. I was at NAS Norfolk in 64-65. Take some leave and go on a long one ...Best to you!

Hey - welcome to the VTF! Looks like there are going to be quite a few of us (including myself, my husband and 6 other) will be in your area for the Bike Classic. We'll be hanging at Boneshakers (my husband's cousin Tina is an owner so we'll DEFINITELY be there).
There's great stuff on the forum - tech info, rider safety tips, and just about ANYTHING else you can think of, including stoopid stuff that'll make ya laugh.
Don't forget to use the "Search" feature to find what you're looking for! If you an think of it, it's probably out here somewhere!! See ya on the forums!!

I'll be there on Saturday because I have a MSF course to do so I can start riding my bike on base. I've been to Boneshakers a couple of times but that was before the name change. It was called On the Rocks. Your husband's cousin must of took ownership of it.

Hey, welcome to the forum from another Va Beach rider. Congrats on the scoot...ride safe and don't let the insane Va Beach drivers take you out; believe me, they'll try!
Boneshakers has been a lot of things. It was On the Rocks, then before that I think it was Guadalajara, then before that it was an Italian joint, then before that, a gas station as I recall. But hopefully it is Boneshakers to stay.
Like L.G. said, lot of us are going to meet up there. My bike is currently ailing so I am probably not going to ride unless the dealership can get it done. That isn't likely. Plus I am volunteering to work the event for the USO...they still need help if anyone wants to join in and help the USO raise some sorely needed money. I have an email address if anyone is interested in helping. You get a free admission, a T-shirt and most importantly, you get to help the USO raise about 30K to devote to the troops that use their service.
I'd say it's a win-win deal.
Welcome again, I'll see you out and about...stay safe out there.
Kelly aka Shooter

Welcome to the forum of the chosen few. A forum where the greatest folks luv the greatest motorcycles on the greatest forum.
But now I am getting jealous. I see the Delinquents population propagating to the point of lots of cool scoots in a centralized zone. This means your probability of riding with folks who luv their bikes and actually riding them has greatly increased.
Congrats and welcome to the big big show.
