I'am new to the v-twin forum. Just wanted to introduce myself, i picked up a '05 XL-883 about a month ago. I got the dealer to install forward controls, then after my 1000 mile service i installed 2into1 header, se breather, & i rejetted it. I also put on a corbin gunfighter seat for now, & a jagg oil cooler. It's a work of art just starting! Plan on bumping it up down the road, maybe 1200 or 1250. It's to new to split the cases and bore them too, so i'll keep it to 74 inchs. Also wanted to say i've been enjoying reading v-twin forums

Welcome Bill. I think you will enjoy that Sporster. My son just bought him one a 05 XL1200C should pick it up next week. I could not let the boy outdo his ole man so I bought me a Road King Custom

so I guess we will get them next week and ride home we live out of town about 72 miles south of Austin.

Hey just wanted to thank everybody for the welcome! Also engine 23 you might want to try hwy.87, from galveston east it runs to high island @ 87 & hwy.124 from there east to sabine pass is wiped out by storms. I'am not sure if hwy.87 picks up west of galveston going to freeport and points west. Anyway it's a nice ride all the way to brownsville. Hope you and your wife enjoy the trip! Btw cowboy H-D in beaumont tx. is having a big rally (3 day) @ ford park i think next month, you might want to check it out!

Hey Bill,

welcome aboard!

There are several threads about solutions to the log in problem.

For me, the solution was to use Firefox (a new web browser). Do a Google search and you'll find it.
