Whatta Woman, Whatta Bike

I've been waiting for 18 years to buy my first bike. The first one had to be a Harley. 6 weeks ago my wife said "you've waited long enough, go buy your Harley." Whatta woman, I think I'll keep her.
This past weekend I picked up a Sierra Red FatBoy. The only experience close to driving it home was the birth of my daughters.
I have been in the USAF for 16 years and am currently stationed at Wright-Patterson in Ohio. I will deploy this summer and it will be heartbraking to leave the Fatty behind (and my ladies).
This is a great forum, I have learned much already. Thanks

Congrats Fatty on both the Georgeous Scoot and your choice in women!!! Mine came about in a very similar fashion.
Welcome to the VTF, and get you some miles in.
Thanks for your contribution to our nation, our freedom, and what you do to allow me to live MY way.
Good fortune and God speed to you.

welcome

Hey, welcome fatty. What dyna said goes double for me. I was in the Navy. I want to salute all you guys. Congrats on your new bike. My experience went kinda like yours. My wife told me she was not put on this earth to make me happy. She said " only you can make you happy. If buying a new harley will make you happy, then by all means, go buy one. " So, I bought a new 100th anniversary Dyna Low rider last august. Man, what a woman, and what a bike. Again, congrats and welcome. Ride safe. Wayne G.
