I've been following this site for about a month now. Figured it was about time to post a "Hello" and say thanks for all the info.
Started riding in the early 70's, grudge raced Kawasaki triples for several years. Still have my '84 twin 750.
Took a few years off to raise a family and now it's my turn again.
Wife's been nagging about the old beater in the garage and why I don't get rid of it? I honestly couldn't come with truthful response.
Sunday the 24th I took a spin through the dealership. Monday the wife and I took a joint trip back so I could show her a few bikes that caught my eye the day before. (One in particular)
I'd been bouncing back and forth between a Fat Boy or a Road King. She locked right in "THE" Pearl White Road King......except it would need a back rest. This was just too easy!
Rode it home. Like I said earlier..thanks for the info. You were all a wealth of information.
We live in Northern Ca. but I work in Wa. It's a hell of a commute and maybe I'll explain later.
