Have had a lot of bikes. The first was a little plastic scooter type thing when i was about 3. It had a motorcycle noise to it.
My first real bike was a Yam XS400.
Just bought a new to me '06 Road King. 22k miles and all stock except a LOT of added chrome. So far I've replaced the tires, took off the cup holder, the luggage rack, sissy bar, helmet lock (what's a helmet?), and bought a badlander seat. Took the heel shift off and replaced the front lever as it was stripped.
I just did a clay bar, detail, polish, and wax. Starting to look good. Need to take off a few more chrome pieces. Honestly this thing had EVERY piece of extra chrome on it.
Need to do some research on a Stage 1 kit. Slipons air cleaner and electronics. Not sure i can get away without doing the electronics.
For looks i might take off the fog lights as they don't work anyway. And not real happy with the remainder of the luggage rack and license plate....
