Hello everybody...looks like a great sight!
I came from over the pond 30 years ago and have been riding a little longer than that. My better half is now wanting something a bit more comfortable for the long hauls. I am just 5' 6" and have looked at and driven the gold wings...great machine, a lot different than what I am used to...but would feel a lot better if I had another 3" (thats what everybody says). I was recently checking out the Harley touring bikes and the ultra classic has a better seat height for me and has lots of carrying space, V twins have the performance and sound that I have gotten to like over the past few years. I was tempted to put in an offer just recently on an 09 but after checking things out it seems the 09 has the same seat height as the 08 but is a little wider, which for me screws things up a little...can anybody give me any more information on this. I don't really want to think about seat, frame or suspension changes, I would rather leave the bike the same as it was designed.
