My first harley

Hi Hogs,

I am the proud owner of an '06 Heritage FLSTI. Its the first HOG for me. I have a sports bike background. Still have an '11 Hayabusa. Owned a R1 and also a GSX-R 750. Wanted something that didn't have me in a 200mph mindset all the time.

Thanks!

hello and welcome!

I'm getting ready to help a guy out with a tune and oil change on an 06 Hayabusa, doesn't have the manual so I'm going in blind, anything I should look out for?

Hey Shaw,

That 06 Busa is a Gen I. Mine is a Gen II. I'd hate to give any misinformation. I've changed my own oil, installed smog block off plates, changed the headers and pipes, extended the swingarm, lowered it and probably some other things. The worse steps are always removing the fairings! Lol! You can find the manual electronically here servicemanualsgsxr.com. I think I may have also found a link on the Extremebusa forum. Good luck!
