Well, I'd been promising myself a bike for years, but between paying to support an ex-wife (and then a fiancee after her, now an ex-fiancee) I never had the extra cash after taking care of everyone else to take care of myself. Well, no more.
Newly single, I came to the realization that once I didn't have to pay for a truck (or food, insurance, etc) for my ex-fiancee, I now had some money freed up. Enough money to afford a Harley. FINALLY.
So, after a LOT of searching, I found EXACTLY what I was looking for. 2012 FLHP, all black, 103, ABS, only 5,000 miles!! Great condition, perfect for what I want to do. Going to swap out all the chrome (other than the engine) with black powdercoat, and really make it look mean. I can't wait!

Anyway, been riding the hell out of it (about 500 miles since 7pm last night... LOL) and having an absolute blast. Having worked at a Harley-Davidson dealership before, I've ridden a ton of 103s (and a ton of FLHTP and FLHP bikes, in particular) and I've got to say this is one of the strongest I've ridden. I just love it!!
Anyway, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it... LOL
