newbie 2009 XL1200N

Hi everyone i'm new to the Harley scene,my first bike was a 250 yamaha enduro 1972 after that a big lul of no bike,That is till a month ago picked up a 2009 XL1200Nighster to take down south for the winter,i only had a chance to ride it 1/2 a dozon times before the snow hit so i'm looking forward to riding in AZ.I just put some Vance&Hines Shortshots and a new Mustang wide Vintage Solos first thing when i arrive in AZ.account the ride stinks and it gets worse with 2-up if need be shocks are next and if that doesn't help i'm afraid i'll have to upgrade.Like many old farts such as myself,retire and need that little zing again so i'll give it a try and see if i still get that zing.Well its off to see what the menbers have to say about Sporsters in general and maybe pick up a few tips.sr123
