I had a 1960's hard-tail when I was in my twenties, then life got in the way and I didn't ride for almost 50 years. Now that I'm retired, I bought a beat-up 2002 Screamin Eagle Road King and fixed it up. I ride most days in the Winter (I live in Florida) and some evenings in the Summer, but daytime Summer is too darn hot for my helmet.

Welcome to the forum. Many folks say the 2002 is the best year for the twin cams, mostly for the superior crank assembly. The S.E. version is icing on the cake. I put over 50,000 trouble free miles on my 03 with the 95 kit and kept up on rides with guys with a lot more money in mods in their motors and didn't have to worry about being broke down once I updated the tensioners on the cam chains. Take a look at them at about 30,000 miles, especially the inner.
