1999 Roadking

Roadkiller99 here! I have had my Roadking since day one and have had lots of problems with this ride and fixed them all myself. Rear Cam Bearings, Lower end, Broken first gear, Broken read swing arm Cam support plate & High Volume Oil upgrades. Ask me any question on the 99 and I would be glad to help.

Too bad you had to get so "intimate" with your RK. Hopefully I will not need to ask you for help Other than having to change the rear belt, I have been pretty lucky with mine as far as major issues.

Biggest thing I just went through was new High Volume Oil pump cam plate and tensioners. Main reason why I joined was to inform people of what I know. Cam plate on the 99 needs a screw in the back of because there is no flow over tube like in the 99a or 2001 for to oil the balance chain. Funny thing Harley does not tell you this and I went nuts until I found a really smart mechanic how told me that. Are talking to numerous mechanics.
