Hello - I'm buying my second Harley today. The first was a 2002 Sportster. This time around it is a 2005 Super Glide. Looking forward to learning all about it here.

Thanks for the welcome. My new (to me) Harley is an '05 Super Glide, blue, with 12,480 miles. I bought it for $6700, sith Bub exhaust, forward controls, shield and a pair of cheap saddlebags. Needed a new front tire; my local shop mounts, fills with nitrogen and balances with dynabeads for $25. Took care of it today; put a Conti Milestone there, which I have had good luck with in the past. Rides much more stable now over tar snakes, of course it isn't fair to compare new vs old...
