Hi I'm hoping to buy a 883 Sportster soon. Just saying hi, I'll be using the forums to learn as much as I can about these bikes.

Why am I buying the Sportster? I love HD's but I've never ridden street before, grew up on dirt. I don't like crotch rockets. The 883 has a look I love and it fits my small size. I'm only 5'3 so I don't need a huge Electra Glide, plus I don't wanna dump a small fortune on my very first bike.

Welcome to the fourm. I would suggest you go and take a MSF course before you purchase the Sportster. Good luck and post up often.
