Newbie from Alberta Canada

Hello just wanted to say I am excited to be part of this forum and very glad that it is available to each one of us.

A little about myself, I have been riding for about 4years and had my license for about 10 I guess I got excited and figured if i had my license i would get a bike.lol. Actually I made the decision to go to the local HD showroom and look at bikes about 11 years ago and have been dreaming about owning one ever since. My first bike was a 1994 Suzuki GSXR 1100 which I owned and rode for 1 year back in 2000 or so all I can say is hold on! Then in 2006 I bought a 1999 Suzuki Intruder 1500LC which I have had a blast riding and customizing and in fact you would never guess it is a suzuki. Then a couple weeks ago I can accross a fantastic deal on the bike I have always wanted since they started making them, it is a 2009 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide and it is Redhot Sunglo. I am pretty excited to have a new bike and am looking forward to my first HD experience. So with all that being said I am looking forward to just connecting with other riders on here and hanging out.

Welcome to another Calgary rider! I hope you're taking advantage of the weather right now...I sure am!

I hate the thought of snow in the near future. Winters seem to get harder every year that goes by. The wife puts me on suicide watch until spring, HOWEVER.......since she enjoys riding as much as I do, we try and get somewhere warm at least once each winter, and get a "bike fix". This year it's Cabo San Lucas, a Road King and a ride up the penninsula for a night at the Hotel California. That's next month; Gotta figure out a plan for February now!
