Post New Gal in the South

Hey Everyone,

My husband and I have just bought our first Harley's. Mine is a 2006 Sportster and his is a 2010 Dyna Wide Glide. I am a beginner, so am on "road probation" until I have completed my training course at the Harley dealership. So, unfortunately, that does not give me any exciting stories to tell. I am looking forward to riding with our group of about 8 plus riders. They all are wanting to take me in the backyard and giving my lessons. They are all extremely excited about me learning to drive since I will be the first female to do so in their group. I figure, if you can ride.....better learn to drive! You never know when it is left up to you to get the bike home. Next thing I know, I find myself buying one and planning out the "honey do's" I want to do to it.

Anyway, enough about me. I hope everyone has a great day!

Welcome Ole Bleu and husband.

Congratulations on the bikes you bought and good luck in getting off probation. It sounds like your husband has been riding a while.

You will enjoy the group riding just don't be shy about asking questions about riding in a group. Also ask for comments about your riding, you'll be surprised about what you can learn.
