Givin' a wave from the wild west
Hey everybody.
just found this site, quite by accident, actually. Gave it a look over, and decided to join up. Been riding long enough to know what it was like before, being a biker was either cool, or even socially acceptable. Currently own an '09 FXD, certainly not my first Harley, but my first NEW one. Glad I waited for the 96'' motor, and the 6 speed though. That puppy HAULS!!! I've ridden everything from soup to nuts, and have had my fair share of scooters that, shall we say, were transformed from chicken poop, to chicken soup. (Neat trick if you can do it) My passions are riding, wrenching, fabrication, and life in general. To put it in perspective, life is too dang short to waste time on idiots, and my favorite adage is "Stupid people should not breed". I'm new to all this 'posting' stuff, so be patient with me, while I get the hang of it, please. I'm really looking forward to having another resource for questions, answers, and the occasional conversation.
So, toodles for now, maybe I'll see one of you on the road.
(well hopefully riding, not literally ON THE ROAD, 'cause that just sucks!) Ta, Stupidglide

 This is my Granddaughter, Sky age 7. She can't walk,talk, or feed herself due to brain injury but look at that smile. It makes most of our troubles seem quite insignificant.
