hey guys just switched from an R1 to an 02 custom softail. it needs paint and a whole lot of cleaning but i have all winter.cant wait to ride the beast. i do have a couple questions though. first off it has a rebuilt title and 2 vin #'s on it. i just didnt know if i could tell what the frame was before. ive tryed looking it up with no luck any help would be great. and also there is no oil in the oil tank and i was wondering how to get the rust deposits out of the tank.

There is no oil and rust in the oil tank? What kind of shape is the motor in? Is it seized? Can u put it in third and roll it with the plugs out? Still I would put oil in it before trying!!

yes it does turn over. bought it off a buddy so i thought.
