Welcome to the forum. I am on my second Ultra Clasic, as my wife and I tour on it. It is a great m/c and handles very well. You will always have room for cold weather and rain gear and a place to store your helmet (if you wear one). The lower fairings work well to keep your feet warm and if you elect to have heated grips and seat may work well for you. Other advantages are having cruise control, a sterio, and CB when riding with others who also have them. In 2008, they went to a six gallon tank (07 and older have a 5 gallon tank), which makes a lot of difference when riding in rural areas.
