Hi all,
This is Chris from Austin, TX. I launched a small importer/distributor company last year (I know, not exactly the best time to do that...). The manufacturer I'm currently focused on is based out of Europe, so they really haven't had much exposure to the American v-twin market. I'm here to learn about Harleys and other brands/customs so we can branch out.
We have longer term goals of manufacturing here in the States, so the more I can learn about Stateside cruisers the better.
I personally don't have much exposure to Harleys or cruisers either, but I'd like to own one (several?) because they seem to be much better for - well - cruising, as compared to sportbikes.
So - I'm a newbie in several ways: to this forum; to cruising in general; to American v-twins.
Hoping to learn and become a cruiser myself.
