Lurker steppin into the light

Hi all. Since I type with two finger's I'm not much of a poster but I wanted to join up to do the search thing and post a few question's. I still plan to do more reading than posting so if you smell something funny that's just me.

My first bike was a Harley/AMF mini bike made in Italy. Don't remember a whole lot about it except that it was a lot of fun. Got the scars to prove it. I just got my newest ride yesterday. It's a 2008 FXD, black and mostly stock. The Dyna was used, low miles, priced right, so I bought it. It's a sweet ride, lot nicer than the sporty I've been tooling around on.

Personal note on why I ride Harley's. There's a lot of talk about resale value's, style, US made bike, being in the in crowd, whatever. My reason is simple. Back when I was a kid in the 70's my brother's rode Harley's. The youngest one was 16 years older than me and every now and then he would have me climb on and go cruising. I may forget a lot of stuff, but I'll always remember those rides.
