Intro from holland

Hello everyone, this is my first posting on this nice and info forum. My name is Paul and i'm living in the north east side from holland, named Stadskanaal. My age is 46 and i'm riding Harley Davidson for 20 years.Starting on a shovel, evo and today mine 8th TC, a FXDF.
My Fatbob is 3 weeks old and since yesterday it's vibrated like a rigid mount evo.Herefore i've got a Dyna 35th anniversary 2006 and this never vibrated like the Fatbob.I hope to find the answer for this problem on this great forum.
Excuse for the writing faults,i'll try to do my best.

Greetings from Holland,

Paul

Welcome to the site Paul!! My buddy has a 06 FXDB and it vibrates just as you describe. It has to do with the rubber motor mounts. It should smooth out at speed so I believe its normal.

Thanks nightrob, the first 200 mile's no problem, and last weekend it starts to shake, milage now is about 250.Dealer told me it's normal, but mine 2006 fxd never vibrates that much. It's starts after 1 hour driving and it don't stop's.I'm checking engine mounts no problem, all bolt's are fixed.Could it be that the crank torques?
