My first post HDF
Well I am ready to buy my first HarleyDavidson Fatboy this spring or summer. It has been a long time since I was on a road bike. The last time I was on a road bike was 1979 doing about 130 mps on interstate 10 just west of El Paso TX on an old KZ1100 with the tears streaming out from under the helmet. I think I am ready to set on that soft tail cruser and enjoy the great open road. I also owened a lot of old dirt bikes from the 70's. Just last summer a co woker let me ride his enduro bike a couple of times and I was hook again

Welcome to the forum. We always advise new and born again riders to take a course - so consider yourself advised!
Have a great summer - and ride safe.

Hi Billybob,
Congrats on taking the plunge, when do you expect to get your ride? (have you set a firm date yet?) You will enjoy your time looking at all the different boards in here. The bunch of guys in here , many of them regulars, are very knowledgeable, very funny and great company. I found the “neverending story” thread yesterday and I haven’t laughed so hard since I don’t know when!!!

Welcome. You better lock down that bike soon before the "good weather" pricing and inventory takes effect!
Let us know what you get!

Welcome to the board. Ride safe. Ditto to BigG; take an MSF course; it's never a waste of time.

Welcome to the forum.
I am sure you will enjoy riding your Harley and enjoying the scenery intstead of racing around all the time. I know I certainly don't miss my hair on fire days
