I guess I finally got it right...
Greetings!
Just recently got a Road King Classic after riding a BMW K1200RS for about a year. I like both bikes, but I'm afraid the BMW may gather dust for awhile. Sure its faster, but there's just something about firing up the Harely that is hard to beat. But I guess everyone here understands that. I find riding to be the most fun thing I do, and truly relaxing.

Here's a picture
Here's a picture. I added the passenger foot rest covers. I also recently added the accessory cases that fit in front of the bags.

Thanks!
Thanks for the friendly welcome. I enjoy the forum, and will contribute when I have something intelligent to say -- which isn't very often! I have to say, I was expecting some good-natured ribbing about the German bike. Oh well, maybe it will be for sale soon anyway.:p

Hi and welcome.
If it will make you feel better about the beemer, a friend of mine bought one and i call it star wars. Why? Because of all the whirring and clicking it does just before it starts up Consider that your good natured ribbing about your German bike
Truth be told, I really don't care what anyone rides just along as they do!

Hi rfdjr58,
and welcome. You will find there is very little space devoted in this forum for ribbing others or similar pastimes. The guys that have welcomed you are some of the best, and this forum is the best Iv'e had the privilage to join. So sit back, look arround, and enjoy yourself.

Hi and welcome to this forum. Truth be known my husband & myself have had several brands of bikes through the years. Just over a year or so ago a BMW KT1200 was one that graced our garage. Again truth be known, it did not give us as much riding pleasure as any of our Harley's ever have. It was a great riding machine, just not as much fun to ride. Congrats on your new King. I know it for a fact that you will enjoy that bike much more than you ever will the Beemer. Sandy
