New to this Forum

I'm new to this forum but see a few members that I reconize from other forums that I frequent. Glad that I found this place, I like it so far. I've been riding HD's for the last 5/6 years. My current pride & joy is a 2003 Road King Classic. Our weather here is getting just right for riding and I'm ready to get out & go. Hope to drop in here real often.

I got my first motorcycle ride from an older brother way back at the tender age of 6. Started riding mini bikes as a pre teen and by the time my teen age years hit I was riding a dirt/street bike that belonged to another brother. Met my husband when we were the age of 16 and started riding pillion with him. After years of new home, kids and riding pillion and some dirt bike riding on our farm. I got my first solo bike at the age of 43 as a 25th wedding aniv. gift. Now I'm about the hit the big 50 and I'm riding this beautiful 100th aniv. RKC. Life couldn't be any better than this. Sandy

Welcome Sandy! You as young as you feel! Congradulations on your new ride. I myself have a 03 Fatboy and enjoying it. Just bought a set of pipes today! Can't wait to put those on. Keep the rubber side down!

A big thanks to all of you on my welcome. I have a few forums that I visit daily, this one is now at the top of my list. I actually found it in a round about way. One of your members here posted the link to this site for some of us in another forum to see a pic of his new ride. I dropped in and decided it was worth staying around. I will do some more checking things out today, but I do like everything I've seen so far. Thanks again Sandy

Welcome to the forum and congrads on the new ride.

What do you mean the weather is getting just right. Took delivery of my RKC on Feb 11th. Was laid up for 2.5 weeks from some minor surgery and still put almost 2K miles on since then. We have been having great riding weather in NE Georgia, except for last weekend.

Northeast GA Weather

Well we have been riding some too, but the weather and work have caused us not to on a couple of occasions. I just had some surgery too, will not get to ride again for another 2 weeks. I can't wait to get back out there!! Sandy

Hey Sandy,

Glad to see you. I've just posted as a newbie here myself, nice people here too. It occured to me that you could consider running a MSF course right in your own front yard, food for thought when you and your husband decide to retire.

Take care,
Andy (aka: Andy148)

We truly love the ride from Atlanta to Helen on the backroads. Have to schedule a time to say hello in Helen some weekend.
