Hey all,
Started riding in '84 on a Suzuki GS1000E while stationed in New Mexico and loved every minute of it. It was my primary mode of transportation for about three years. Then I got married and the kids came along and I got away from riding. It's a sad story too often told.
Well, the kids are grown now, my last one (I have two) graduates from high school this month. I promised myself a Harley when I retired from the Air Force and since I retired in July, the time has come.
I just ordered a 2008 Road King Classic in Pacific Blue Pearl and hope to take delivery in July 08 when I return from a contractor job in Kuwait. Makes paying for the ride a lot less painful to the pocketbook

Not sure if I am going to stay another year or not. The option is there and the $$ are hard to beat. If I stay I'll just change my order to an 2009. AAFES allows that with no questions or penalties.
Anyway, I can't wait to get back in the saddle again. Maybe I'll run into some of y'all in Florida when I get back.
Ride safe,
Wyredawg
