Found the forum today. Looks quite good; lots of information.
I bought an 03 FXDL about a month ago. I hadn't been on a bike for over 25 years, so I took the CA CHP course. I'm having a great time, and love the ride. I sure look forward to the rain stopping altogether, and my getting by the break in period.

Welcome aboard. I'd be happy with rain right now. We are just getting done with one of the worst snowy winters in NY in a long time. I have my new Road King in the garage just waiting to start the break-in period. Ride safe!

Welcome scottsf,
I agree with gman116, this was number 3 in winters for us here in VA, the third most snow fall since they have been keeping records and one of the coldest. We are looking forward to rain just so it can melt some of the snow that's still around. Again welcome to the board, we have got to have a spring some time.
Dave

Thanks all for the welcome. I'll keep in mind my luck at have only to tolerate some rain. I used to live in the northwest and upper midwest and recall the cold and snow. Here's to an early and lasting thaw.
