Howdy.... have been on here for about a week, posting away and even trying to sell some parts...then I read I need to do this first. ooops
Marty from Uxbridge...had over 100 bikes, mostly ***. Just sold my 2002 FXSTDI Deuce which I had sunk a million damn dollars into and bought a 2007 Fatboy. Road the FB last year and it felt 'way to old' so I began to strip it. Gone with the floorboards and heel-toe, on with the Accutronix forwards. You get the idea. Now awaiting the HD bobtail rear fender, HD stretched tank and front Wernimont fender back from the painter. Front Fender will be a throw away when I get the traditional softail front end..wow, did I buy the wrong bike.
Been getting some fabulous advice on here regarding my engine build ( 103' or 107" or 103' or 107'....geeeez, I don't know!) which I will hopefully get done within the next month by the time the glaciers recede from Canada for another too short riding season.
I must say there certainly are some big HD brains on here, it's a pleasure to be aboard.
