MDA Wendover Ride

The countdown has begun! Everyone is buzzing around like a little kid going to Disneyland! LOL.
This is really the only big organized ride that many of my friends and I go on. I'm really looking foreward to it.
Who's going? SLCHOG? Jams? Sledutah? Warhawk? Anyone else?

I'm on a 95th Anniversary Road King Classic, if you see me feel free to flip me the bird and hope it really is me!

I'll be there, looking forward to it. Didn't make it last year but went down to look at the bikes before they left. I'm on a '03 Black Heritage, probably won't be many of them Sunday!!!! Staying in Wendover Sunday night so I don't have to dodge the troopers

I was surprised that I only saw one or two '03 black Heritages. Just out of curiousity, did you have a girl on back with a big American flag on the back of her jacket?

Great weather and a great party at the casinos too. I heard the turnout was around 7000.
I think we may have shocked a few of the old folks that didn't know we were coming LOL!

If anyone has any pictures I'd love to see them.

Bummer about the few "incidents".
I only saw the bad one just before Dell. Tire blew and they went down hard. Man, That sucked bad! I hate when that happens, and I really hate seeing it.
I heard there were a couple of minor ones but I don't know the details.
Some jackass showing off in the parking lot that hit a pedestrian was one of them.

Had my wife with me but she doesn't have a flag on the back of her vest.
We were not too far behind the accident on I80, after the freeway opened up we drove past the bike and my stomach turned. Haven't heard how they are, but the paper said they were stable.
Couldn't believe the amount of bikes, 7000+ people must have been around 5,000 bikes (alot of solo riders). We left in the front of the pack, stopped for gas in Tooele (son's Kawasaki 750) stayed there for 20-30 minutes. Getting back on the freeway I was suprised to still see bikes that hadn't reached Tooele yet.
It was a great time, good weather and beer. Was dissapointed that they ran out of beer at the rally though

Got a call from a friend yesterday letting me know that it was her niece and her husband that were in the wreck on I80. Her niece is in bad shape. She has massive head injuries, they removed her spleen and she had a stroke. I don't have any other details, but will let you know when I hear something. They were both wearing helmets, but the bike landed on top of her after the tire blew.
