A number of "online bikers" will be meeting socailly at various venues throughout the Sturgis Rally week and the days prior to the Rally... these bikers come from several different biker bulletin boards and chat rooms and all are invited to attend. If you are afraid you won't be noticed by the groups attending the various events, tape a piece of toilet paper (or let a piece hang out your back jeans pocket) to your butt... that is the signal being used this year.. or just walk up to any of the apparently more intelligent bikers (j/k) and ask "where's the online bikers at??"... i bet you'll find us....
1. Thursday evening, July 31, Pyramid Bar in downtown Sturgis, Main Street, 6pm
2. Friday, Aug 1.. Hot Springs Rally begins, Allen Ranch, Hot Springs, SD
3. Saturday, Aug 2.. Hot Springs Rally continues... most of the scheduled events are on this day
4. Monday, Aug 4.. Mangy Moose Monday II ride .. ride starts at noon at Mangy Moose.. returns to Mangy Moose at 3pm (Mangy Moose is in Hill City) Make sure and get there BEFORE NOON for a little bit of socializing and pictures.. the ride starts promptly at noon.
Also, on Monday evening, Aug 4, I have heard that several of our group are planning to be at Full Throttle for the concerts at sunset and after dark.
5. Tuesday, Aug 5.. evening get together at One Eyed Jacks second floor bar (east wing) and the outside observation decks attached, 7pm.. the music selection is great there and not too loud in the second floor bar.. conversation is possible.. (other parts of OEJ's are loud), there is food available on the premises for those that choose to eat there (restaurant adj to the second floor bar and they usually fry up burgers on the first level).
Also, just so everyone knows... my own bar of choice in downtown Sturgis (other than Broken Spoke) is Oasis.. afternoons and evenings if you're walking by the Oasis and stick your head in the door you might find me with beer in hand near the front door. You can find pictures of me on the Hot Springs Rally board,
