Never done a fly-n-ride, but definately worth doing. Then continue into Canadian Rockies, it just gets more and more awesome! Seattle area is just a day away, check out starting there. (or Spokane? Kenniwick? Boise?)

In August I rode to Glacier it was a great trip, then up to Jasper and Banff in the Canadain Rockies.

If you got to fly there, wait until you got more vacation time to ride. Those vacation pics with a rented bike, are like looking at prom pictures with your sister.

Glacier Park

Hi all,
You can rent HD @ Montana HD in Missoula, thats 150 miles from Glacier Park. Not sure of which airlines serve Missoula but I know of Delta's Sky West. The Going to the Sun road closes for winter and usually opens in may. They get 100 foot drifts on her. Night riding not recommended, lots of deer in western montana but it stays light till 10:30 in late june and July. Sept is perfect just after labor day as the tourist season slows down. I'd be happy to give specific directions to any and all members as I live 20 miles from the park. Its a spectacular area. We start riding in early April and ride till end of Oct most years........goldie

Make sure you take a camera. I did the Glacier, Yellowstone, Flaming Gorge loop a couple of years ago and it was heavenly.
