Greeley, Colorado, to Sturgis

Anyone out there live anywhere near Greeley? If so, what's the best way to get up to Sturgis. I've been looking at the maps, but I'm not sure which route to take. I wanna get up there fast, but I'd also like to see some nice scenery. Anyone from Colorado who has been up to Sturgis a few times, could you give me an idea on which way to go, in your opinion.
Thanks, Will from Greeley

Just shoot up I-25 but get off that road and go thru Guernsey, WY and check out all the wagon ruts left in the rock by users of the Oregon trail back in the pioneer days. It's pretty interesting.

I'm not from Colorado but I've been through Greeley a few time doing Sturgis trips.
I like to take 85 all the way up to 14a and then take Spearfish canyon on in.

I've made the trip a couple times from Denver to Sturgis. I25 to Torrington area is quicker, but a bit more boring. I like taking the extra time and going through the sandhills in western Nebraska (385 I think?), and meander up into the Black Hills.
