No love for the FXST so far. It's been on Craigslist and Cycle Trader for awhile now. Do I have it priced to high. If it won't bring close to what I have listed at I'll most likely keep it for a solo ride.

I personally don't think you're asking too much. It's a beautiful bike and I am partial to the Softails.

Nice bike. As far as pricing goes it's not how much it's worth, it's how much you can get for it. How much are similar bikes going for in your area? Seems like everyone is looking for baggers these days. I dunno, I love my softail.

Dealership offered me $7000.00 on trade in. The sales guy told me they would list it for $10,500.00. Similar bikes on Craiglist are listed in the same range I have mine at. Haven't seen any with as much chrome as mine.

I've set my bottom line at $8,500.00, if I can't get that out of it I'll keep it.

I would keep it too. The market just sucks right now. Maybe you could put it on consignment at the dealer. People do that around here and come out okay.

Had a responce to the Craigslist ad yesterday, "I'm interested at $6,000.00". My reply "I bet you are, not a chance that's going to happen".

Wrong time of year, even where you are. Everyone is thinking about Christmas and the associated expense of that. Market will pick up again in March/April timeframe when folks are flush with tax refunds and ready for summer riding.

I was thinking it might be someone that buys and resales looking for a lowball distress sale. Who knows, but yes I agree, some people are just stupid.

I was kinda thinking I might have some luck with the possible Christmas gift sale. We have alot of winter vistors here this time of year, maybe a snowbird will land on it before spring. In the mean time I'm gonna show it some love and take it for a ride tomorrow.

Just got the green light from my wonderful wife. We're going to keep the FXST. Never in my wildest dreams thought I'd have two beautiful Harley's.

Bump

Thought I'd ride it more, it's just collecting dust. Spending all my ride time on the SGS.

I'll give it another shot on here and Craigslist. Anyone want it for $8000.00
