Fellow forum members, my good friend and my go to guy for anything Harley Davidson is parting with this excellent example of a true old school bike. I am posting this ad for him. Completely rebuilt 1981 wide glide. It has matching numbers, with the original completely rebuilt 80CI [1340 CC] Shovelhead engine. It is a classic bike with that American feel to it. It has a new custom made wiring harness, a nice paint job with hand painted emblems. A new primary with new chain, clutch with hub and basket. A new top of the line 5 speed kicker transmission. New brakes. Lots of chrome. Also has jockey shift (can easily be converted back to a normal clutch and shifter). The engine has port and polished heads with new valves, guides, seats, and springs. A new crankshaft, new cylinders, pistons and rods. 3000 miles on recent rebuild. Just paid registration. I am a licensed Harley mechanic and have done all of the work myself. I have kept up on the maintenance very religiously. I change the oil every 1500 miles so that it stays looking like honey. I don’t want to let the bike go but I am in a financial hardship.
