Looks like a nice bike with a decent price. I'm just curious as to why you had to replace the tires at only 3800 miles?

I'm a firm believer that the age of a tire is just as important as tread wear. These tires were aproaching 5 years old. The rubber will get hard with age and lose its grip.

It's just me. Others may not feel the same way.

I agree...makes sense to me.

I thought I'd show my son-in-law your bike and I just didn't want him to get a bike where the previous owner did burnouts every day...LOL.
