I took the advanced Rider's Edge course this past Saturday. The Harley dealer in Hammond, LA has an asphalt lot behind the dealership built for the course, and it did well.
I wasn't disappointed. It was satisfying putting the Wide Glide through it's paces, and by the end of the day, I was literally dragging the pegs around the curves, and stopping far better than I thought the bike was capable of. It just takes proper instruction how to get there, and LOTS of PRACTICE!
The real trick I think though, will be repeating the exercises on a regular basis in order to keep the skills sharp.
