Does a Harley float?
Found this while surfing a crotch-rocket site. Sure glad the guy had insurance!

How in the world do you miss a u-turn in a parking lot the size of a hay field?
The GPS unit on the bars would have time to fixate a team bivouac in that lot fer cryin out loud..
Target fixation perhaps?
Good thing he had on his fingerless gloves...

What a nice bike that was. I guess he didn't have enough room for a U turn.

Wow great story and pictures. You bring hope to all of the brothers and sisters that have ever been in dire straights out on the road.
On behalf of all riders. Thanks for your efforts, and thank god you didnt get hurt or worse.
The rider sure does need to practice his u turning.

I saw the "Ride Like a Pro" demo at Vintage motorcycle days in Ohio. Apparently, this guy missed it. They had a 19 year old girl doing U-Turns on a Street Glide in the space of just over 1 parking spot.

apparently the guys insurance company wrote the bike off- the tow truck dragged it up the slope causing more damage.
It could probably be fixed up-but insurance won't pay the bills and the bike gets tagged as an accident repair job.
Bet an ol timer hog rider woulda dried it out and ridden it home!.

Is that where the "water-cooled HD bagger" rumor started? Sorry, I figured that somebody had to say it...

I didn't know that Harley was getting into personal watercraft. Maybe trying to compete with Yamaha.
