Found the left hand swingarm bolt completely backed out on wife's '07 XL Low. Bike has 1093 miles on it. Bolt had completely disengaged from the frame. Only stayed on board because it ran into the brake reservoir hose on the way out... Luckily the right hand bolt stayed put.
That's the first time I've heard of this. Was the bike built during the strike????Lucky the brake reservoir was there. I'd take pics and send them to the MoCo.
Probably won't do any good tho.......Prolly say you did it......That's been my experience with the MoCo.
Got the bike back from Greensboro HD yesterday. They replaced both swingarm bearings and both bolts. There were no signs of locktight on the old bolts. They replaced the brake reservoir hose as well. The whole rear section was disassembled and inspected. The senior service technician and the service manager spent a lot of time with the wife making sure she understood what happened and how they fixed it. She rode it home.

Sounds like they made their best effort in making things right.
