Motorcycle Table Lift?

What is the cheapest, best motorcycle table style lift?

I want to be able to get the bikes up at a comfortable working level, but at the sametime I don't want to break the bank.

I've seen the Pro-Cycle lifts for around $500-$600, and they use an air-over-hydraulic system. Then I've seen the Harbor Frieght lifts for $300 that use hydraulic only.

Just curious what people have found and are using.

Steve

i have the procyle lift. If you do end up going that route, make sure you have a compressor that supports it. I am not sure of the specs but i used to have a very small compressor and it took forever to lift up and never really got to that last notch. Soon after i got the lift and one of the service stations was going out of business and i picked up an industial unit that is amazing...Will run the lift and air tools without sweating......

I looked at that lift, but shipping is going to be the killer.

Too bad there isn't someone closer to me selling them to cut down on shipping costs.

I recenlty bought a table lift from Viking Lift Company. I am very pleased with it. Great guy to deal with, ordered it on a Friday night, was shipped on Monday, arrived at the terminal on Tuesday pick and it up Wednesday. Vary stable and rated at 1200lbs. Debated on getting the side extensions and almost didn't but glad I did. No more laying on the garage floor.

Just pick it up locally...they may not have it in stock, but you can order it locally and then the freight is on them!

PS you will save $45 while your at it.

Do you have a web-link? How about a price?

Right in Maine you have a lift table manufacturer called www.southworthproducts.com. You might want to check to see if they make something.

I have looked at the industrial lift manufacturers before and their prices were higher.
I bought the Harbor Freight lift...$300...the only weak part is the front wheel vise...i'll fabricate my own, but you can get one like they use on Handy or Pro-Lift for around $50-60 on ebay/internet.
...and the 8 bolts they give you to mount the 2 swivel wheels are poor quality...twisted 2 off while tightening...i used 1/4-20 x 3/4" american made bolts i had.
a guy on another forum showed pics of a pair of 2 x 12's, at the lowered table height,to sit on each side of the lift while driving the bike on

Table style? Not sure about that one. But, just lifts in general:

The cheapest? I don't really know.

The best? Pit Bull http://www.pitbullmotorcyclelifts.com/pictures.htm

Those are just lifts..........I'm looking for a table lift that goes 30"+ in the air.

Here's another vote for the HF lift.
If I'd had more to spend, I'd gone for a Handy or clone.
I bought the Viking wheel vise off of Ebay.
The HF lift is great for the casual user, but I doubt you'll ever see any in a pro shop.
