microfiber cloths

I have a few microfiber rags to dry and polish my bike with, they're getting pretty dirty, can I just throw them in the washer and dryer to clean them? Thanks.

Washing Microfiber Cloths

I washed and dried just like any other laundry and they are working fine.

They will wash just fine just don't use any fabric softener

Watch out drying them with heat. Also dont mix them with normal laundry. Wash them by themself

Micro fiber cloths

I ordered some cloths when I bought the BOM on the net. I have washed them and they work great. Bought some cloths at Wally-World (thinking they are the same and also 5 times cheaper) washed them and they leave the fine micro fibers all over the bike. They (the fibers) are full of static and extremely hard to remove. Anyone else have the same problem? Did you cure it?

It would be better if you got your OL to do it.

And have her shag us a couple of beers while she's up

And if it ain't too much trouble, could she rustle up some munchies?

By far the best place I have found to buy micro-fiber is ebay....remember that there are 70/30 and 80/20 cloths. Being an old detailer I do not wash unlike cloths together...ie..dont mix dressing cloths with polish clothes...may sound extreme but thats how I was taught. If you use a dryer, no dryer sheets...lowest setting.

Costco has them. Like 12 for just under $9 here in Pennsylvania.

3Dog,

Which cloths are the best? The 70/30 or the 80/20? I've seen both on eBay.

I've been using cloth baby diapers for years. If they're soft enough for
your rug-rats rear end....they're good for the sled. They're not too
expensive, are machine washable/dryable and leave no lint of fibers
behind (no punn intended).

S-100 Detail & Wax also...!
