I finally brought my baby home

After what seemed like a very long wait, I finally got to bring my
2009 Sportster 1200C home today. She's paid for, taxes & plates are paid, insurance paid. I even had me one of them fancy quick release HD windshields put on, which turned out I need it. The dealer I bought my bike from is 200 miles from where I live. And for the first 100 miles or so, it rained. Not real heave but enought to make me appreciate the windshield. BUT !! Now my bike is 10 kinds of dirty. What suggestions do you all have as to what would be best to clean it up with, including the windshield? Thanks in advance for any input.

A bit late with a reply but I just ran across your question. My windshield gets a lot of bugs and I discovered a quick and easy clean for it (love those quick release clamps). I lean the screen against my trash can, spray it with a good coat of Simple Green, wait a minute and use a soft paper towel to loosen the bugs then spray it down good with a hose. Use one of those super absorbent car drying towels and in just a few minutes my windshield is clean and shiny.
