Actually I've heard that with the compressed air comes micro-droplets of oil, and the risk of pushing water into bearings seals exc.

However if you're hellbent on it, there is a product that is safe to use in the link.

OldMsocko is an unknown quantity at this point
For what it is worth I use a motorcycle air drier and wouldn't do it any other way. I use the Air Force Blaster.

+1 on the Air Force
You have to be careful about blowing moisture and oil from the compressor. I found that you really can't use it for long, and obviously don't get to close. Leaf blower is liable to blow dirt particles at your bike. Many people use them, just keep it clean. I've tried both and then bought the dryer. It's like the greatest gift to bike washing ever....you will never regret spending that money for 1 second.

The Wifey's hair dryer works too. Just don't tell her what yer usin it for. Sleeping in the garage on a concrete floor - ain't what it's cracked up to be.

I bought a Sears electric leaf blower on sale and use it for the bike only. I have never blown a leaf with the thing. Works perfect!

A couple of good clear farts will work wonders. Keyword is clear.
